MIoT Log Inspector is a Chrome extension designed to help users inspect MIoT device logs on https://iot.mi.com/* pages.

Data Collection

MIoT Log Inspector does not collect, transmit, sell, or share user data.

The extension reads log table content from the currently open https://iot.mi.com/* page only when the user uses the extension. This data may include timestamps, message types, and JSON log messages shown on the page.

Local Processing

All log data is processed locally in the user's browser. The extension uses this data only to display logs in the Chrome Side Panel, provide search, format JSON, highlight matching rows, and copy selected log entries at the user's request.

No Remote Servers

MIoT Log Inspector does not send log data, browsing data, or any other user data to any remote server. The extension does not use analytics, tracking, advertising, or third-party data collection services.

Data Storage

MIoT Log Inspector does not store user log data permanently. Log data is kept only in the active browser session while the extension interface is open or in use.

Permissions

The extension requests only the permissions needed for its single purpose:

• sidePanel: used to display the log inspection interface.
• scripting: used to run the content script on supported MIoT pages when needed.
• https://iot.mi.com/*: used only to access MIoT device log pages and read the visible log table content.

Data Sharing

MIoT Log Inspector does not share user data with the developer, third parties, advertisers, analytics providers, or external services.
